When framing item.

All of our quality and materials come with a lifetime guarantee. We ensure all work is to proper custom framing specifications, and do not take shortcuts.

Frames are all 100% real wood. All frame finishes are from a Made in Italy manufacturer to ensure the highest quality.

Glass and acrylic
We use appropriate, framing grade glass, which is thick enough to withstand the stresses of framing.
Regular glass has no UV protection, where as both the C.clear as well as museum glass protect from UV light.
Museum glass has an anti-reflective coating on it, which eliminates reflection while maintaining ultimate clarity. This stuff is amazing.

Matting is the border that goes around the artwork, between the art and frame, and holds the glass from contacting the art.
The matting we use is fully conservation quality. All matting on our ordering system is acid-free and lignin-free, and has a 100% alpha cellulose base.
Our mat boards are both fade and bleed resistant.

For do it yourself, made to order frames where you are going to insert your artwork, the backing is acid-free foamcore, to properly protect your art.
If you are ordering a print and frame done for you solution through the website, where we print, and frame your prints, then we use Mountcor, and mount the print flat. This prevents it from buckling or curling.

No matting option
When you select a print that will be framed right to the image without a mat, then we use spacers to properly hold your artwork away from the glass.

Finishing backing
When you order your print and frame package, where we are doing the work for you, then we use an archival grey backing paper, to seal your artwork in the frame. You can request that we do not use this, however, this is how proper custom framing is done. Don't be fooled by the cheap way other places do it.
